method Place heavy whipping cream in a medium sized pot and bring to a boil. Once the cream is boiling turn off heat and pour over semi sweet chocolate. Allow cream to sit on chocolate for approximately 2 minutes. This will start to melt the chocolate. Using an emersion blender or rubber spatula start to slowly mix cream and chocolate together. You will see that it will soon start to come together as a smooth delectable sauce. Let ganache cool in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight in an airtight container. Using an electric mixer, place your cooled ganache and heavy cream into mixer. Mix on low speed until fully incorporated and slowly work your way to medium/high speed. Once your mixture thickens into medium - stiff peaks you are done. You can use a piping bag with a pretty tip and pipe right into your desired serving dish. Then let cool in the refrigerator for an hour. You can make ahead for up to 3 days, but it's best served up fresh! Garnish with dipped strawberries or mixed berries. Enjoy!

JENNIFER BRUNO Born and raised in Southwick, Jennifer is a representational artist who paints in acrylic and oil. She primarily paints pets along with many other various landscapes, floral, and abstract paintings. Her art is inspired by life and imagination. “I paint what is around me, so you can find me at home in the garden, or with my cats,” states Jennifer. “I love to put personality into my art work, making bold smart statements and I love bright colors,” she continues. “I’m not afraid to experiment with line, textures, color, value, form and space.” While Jennifer’s fans love to see her classic sunflowers and garden paintings, she does like to have a sense of humor when it comes to her art, as well.

Recently Jennifer’s art work can be seen flying high over Southwick streets in a banner that she painted for Celebrate Southwick 250. “I think it is such a great idea, and I’m very thankful that my art was selected!!” said Jennifer. For the past 5 years, Jennifer has been donating her art as raffles for events like “Band Jam,” which raises money for the Southwick Animal Shelter. “As a former member of Southwick Arts Council, I have participated in 30 juried art shows in the last 10 years.

Amelia Park Ice Arena DEVOTED TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THE AMELIA PARK ICE ARENA AND PARK WAS CREATED, BUILT AND FUNDED BY ALBERT F. FERST. It was done to commemorate his late wife Amelia who was committed to helping the children and less fortunate people of Westfield through numerous philanthropic endeavors. The facility and Memorial Garden opened on July 1, 2000.

Located in downtown Westfield, Massachusetts, Amelia Park Ice Arena and Garden is the cornerstone of the Amelia Park Campus, a historical footprint devoted to children and families. It also houses Amelia Park Children’s Museum, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield, and sport playing fields. Immediately adjacent is the Westfield South Middle School. It encompasses all the elements in promoting a healthy, productive, enriching environment and community, and is considered one of the finest recreational campuses in the area.

Amelia Park brings the community together. It has been described as a privilege for our community, especially families. Its outreach is impressive. Its affiliations and partnerships are vast.
