This magazine has inspired celebrations and supported small business in the process. In the making of the magazine, new connections are built between vendors working together on amazing setups and so much fun is had on site to bring these inspiring shoots to life for you all Thank you to each and every single vendor who has been a part of one of our magazine issues (or multiple issues) through the shoots, business features and advertisements or even just sharing the magazine. WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?
The timeless magic and joy of the holiday season! I wanted to create an atmosphere that felt crisp and airy, with pops of traditional christmas colors to evoke a sense of nostalgia and warmth. I envisioned a ‘crafternoon’ with Santa and his crew, where the children could indulge in creative activities and build cherished memories.
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
Life size Christmas props added a sense of wonder and excitement for the kids. From the sleigh to the musical lanterns, the Santa’s mailbox to the candy cane – these props were not only interactive but gave fantastic photo opportunities. The gorgeous reindeers behind the mini white reindeers on the tablescape, tied together with the white reindeer ears and crowns. The muted natural balloons added playfulness, and the mini garland wrapped around the tree with wooden personalized keepsakes and candy filled baubles created a cohesive and eye-catching feature. Clear elements such as the 3D favour boxes, plinth, cake topper base and a clear cake tier added a contemporary touch. The clear tier adorned with a matching red door house cookie and gingerbread man was revolving, which added an element of surprise and whimsy to the party.

Always start by involving your little ones in choosing a theme that represents their interests, so that their ideas can direct your decisions and the party planning process is enjoyable for everyone. Stick to your theme and try to maintain the color palette across all your elements so that everything is aesthetically appealing. Kids absolutely love parties that keep them engaged. If adding interactive elements isn’t easy for you, then hire professional entertainers. In our case, Santa and his crew kept the kids busy with Christmas craft, face painting, glitter tattoos and themed balloon twists. Most importantly, give yourself plenty of time so that you can book in vendors, communicate all your needs and ideas as well as get all the supplies in time.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?
I was inspired by a recent walk through local parklands – there was a small clearing and the way the sun was coming through made it feel magical! I wanted to create a simple and unique fairy party that didn’t use the usual pinks and purples as the colour scheme.
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
The mushrooms by Epic Animals and giant white flowers by Hazel Events & Prop Hire made you feel the size of a fairy and added an enchanting atmosphere to the party. The gorgeous blue, peach and mustard colour scheme with pops of red provided a beautiful backdrop for the little details like the intricate cookies by Cookies By Catherine and the fun playdough tubs by Busy box Creations.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?
The inspiration behind the styling of this baby shower stemmed from the incredible work of Roxana Martinez, known as @roxythecreative, whose floral umbrellas sparked our creative vision. To infuse our own distinctive flair, we ingeniously integrated delicate pale blue bows, complemented by an abundance of floral arrangements. This artful combination enveloped the event in an atmosphere reminiscent of a lush, dreamy garden in the height of its bloom, setting the stage for a truly memorable celebration.
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
Floral Umbrellas as Focal Points: Handcrafted fabric-covered umbrellas, adorned with meticulously arranged artificial florals, graced the backdrop panels. These stunning additions not only created visual interest but also symbolised the theme of being ‘showered with love,’ adding depth and meaning to the decor. Whimsical Bow Patterns: The bow pattern on the backdrop panel, accompanied by a matching bow floor mat, lent a delightful sense of continuity and whimsy to the entire design. The bow pattern was also used in even the smallest details. It graced Nutella pyramid favour boxes and onesie-shaped Baby Prediction Card, showcasing our commitment to meticulous design . Additionally, the floral umbrellas served as inspiration for one of our charming cookie designs, tying together every aspect of the event with a delightful bow, so to speak. Giant B A B Y Boxes: To infuse an extra touch of charm and playfulness into the setup, we incorporated oversized B A B Y boxes. Abundant Floral Arrangements: To bring our chosen colour palette to life, we incorporated an abundance of artificial floral arrangements in shades of blues and whites. These arrangements not only added elegance but also created a cohesive visual experience throughout the venue. These unique features, meticulously curated and thoughtfully implemented, collectively contributed to a baby shower setup that was not only visually stunning but also meaningful. NOV 2023

I’ve always wanted to do a space theme but I didn’t want it to be the colour way of dark space tones, I wanted it to be light and bright pastel tones. I love the purple and peach tones together and it really came together as a beautiful pastel space theme for Harper’s second birthday!

There were so many fun elements to this party but I did love the planet shaped choc smash cake and the star wands! Kids loved these elements and I think they really tied the theme together well!

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?
The inspiration for the styling of this party shoot was to celebrate Madilyn’s birthday. She has a deep love for fashion and all things pink, so we aimed to create a party that reflects these interests and celebrates her.
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
Luxury Picnic Events set a beautiful picnic in Madelyn’s favourite colours and C3 Event Styling created a beautiful backdrop with silk florals to complement the whole theme. Grace Choi Artist, is a live event illustrator who also owns a kids’ party venue called ‘A Little Bite Studio’ in Wentworth Point, Sydney. We used Grace’s fashion illustrations, featuring Chanel bags, jewelery, and perfume, which were then incorporated into cakes, cookies, gift tags for the sweet bonbonniere, cookie mix labels and her digital illustration of Madilyn for the backdrop. Grace also illustrated quick 3-minute sketches of the girls as a gift to take home, adding a fun and surprising element to the party.

Our top tip is to choose a theme that resonates with your child’s interests. In our party shoot, it was important that we interpreted fashion in different mediums, such as cakes, cookies, and illustrations, which Madilyn really loved as she adores all things fashion. For teen girls, they may enjoy a more personalized, luxurious experience that’s a little different from kids’ parties. Live illustration was definitely a hit and a fun idea to engage the creative kids, allowing them to watch the live illustration happening in action and resulting in a keepsake to take home. 60

Miss Daniela is the life of every party so we wanted to create a party theme that would scream ‘Daniela is a vibe’ to capture the fun and colourful spirit of the birthday girl. Like every 8 year old girl she loves emoji’s, rainbows, daisies and all things pink and purple!
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
The shaker favour boxes were a huge hit with the kids! They loved all the personalised goodies inside. The jumping castle provided hours of entertainment, and the personalised illustrations were a fantastic representation of Daniela and a gorgeous keepsake for years to come. The combination of the shimmer wall, rainbow and smilie media wall created the perfect backdrop for this party as it oozed shimmer, colour and fun! The endless metres of balloons and streamers suspended from the ceiling gave that extra wow factor when Daniela’s friends and guests arrived into the party room!

Summer vibes was the inspiration for this shoot as we are seeing fruity themes trending! We loved creating and designing this fun and cool concept which is perfect for the summer birthday parties. We decided to add a unique approach to this theme by making it suitable for boys with a refreshing take on summer colours with caribbean blue, orange, yellow, and apple green!
WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?
Some of the unique features was the unique colour palette itself and creating a fun and refreshing look with fresh citrusy fruits. Another unique feature was the realistic cake. We also had incredible lineup of desserts and cookies which were custom made to match the theme. For the kids entertainment, we had a fruity entertainer which the kids enjoyed with bubbles, music and dance. The finer details in tablescape stationery was also unique including the 3D designed favour boxes.
