The events will take place on Friday, August 12, from 3-5:30 p.m. at McDougald Terrace and Bragtown Libraries. All other locations will host their celebrations on Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. “More than 10,000 children, teens and adults sign up for summer reading each year, and more than 70 percent reach their reading goals.” said Karlene Fyffe, the library’s youth services administrator. “This year, thousands of families reached their reading goals and many participated in library programs that explored the global theme, One World, Many Stories.
