DEPARTMENT of BIBLICAL STUDIES

Examine Scripture, learn to clearly explain essential Christian truth, and explore church history while preparing for a career in ministry or missions. You can choose a concentration like biblical languages to continue your education with a master’s or doctoral degree.

Get the academic and practical training you need to think critically about Christian doctrine. In this program, you’ll gain the skills to become a minister, Christian educator, or author and be prepared academically to pursue your postgraduate degree in theology or apologetics.

Specialize in youth ministries, women’s leadership, pastoral leadership, or camp ministry, or focus on Christian leadership to effectively serve your local church or ministry.

DEPARTMENT of GLOBAL STUDIES

Prepare for a career in global or intercultural ministry through faith-based organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), or marketplace opportunities by learning to communicate and serve across cultures. Choose a minor or double major to pair with Global Studies and be equipped to serve in diverse local communities and global contexts.

This program has an opportunity for a global studies internship during the second semester of your junior year. You can earn 15 hours of university credit for an ethnographic research project, language learning, and crosscultural service opportunities, then return for debriefing and continued discipleship in your senior year.
