Footbridge Mural Project

8-12 YRS.

Young artists will create a one-of-a-kind painting to be on display at the Forbes Mill Footbridge reflecting the theme “Capturing Life in Los Gatos”. To get inspired, participants will explore New Museum Los Gatos’ (NUMU) art exhibitions and historic collections, meet with local Town officials, learn art techniques and fundamentals, walk the Los Gatos Creek trail to learn about local flora and fauna, and visit local historic landmarks. This is a highly engaging interactive art and history experience that you don’t want to miss.

Kids Carpentry Camp

5-10 YRS.

From boats to bird feeders, doll furniture, clocks, games, airplanes, and many more, the kids have a wide range of projects to choose from besides designing and building according to their own needs and imagination for the veteran carpenter. In addition to the fun kids have they also gain quality experiences in measuring, applied math (including fractions), problem-solving, craftsmanship, and empowered by the hands-on experience. Kidz Entrepreneur Camp

5-9 YRS. Projects emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, team building, public speaking skills, and a positive attitude. Design menus and huge advertising signs for an Italian restaurant, learn budgeting forming a party planning business, discuss services at a pet shop, and buy and sell at our general store. Materials fee: $25.

Enchanting Magic Camp!

5-12 YRS. Learn the foundational skills to release your inner magician. Learned skills will include hand-eye coordination, public speaking, humor, prop making, costuming, and character development. At the end of the course, each student will have a goodie bag of all the props used for the magic taught in the camp to take home and share with family and friends. 888 Monkeys Circus Camp

8-14 YRS. Try out the trapeze or simply clown around this summer at 888 Monkeys Circus Camp. Campers learn circus skills such as Juggling, Rolla Bolla, Acrobatics, Diabolo, Flower Sticks, and Pedalos. Each week long session culminates with a camp performance, Please bring a snack and water each day. Wear comfortable clothes for movement (we go upside down!), closed-toed shoes, and leave your jewelry at home. One week and two week camps available NO CLASS: 7/4.

Chess Wizards Camp 6-12 YRS. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student will have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament. Dance Camps

Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Dance Camp 3-6 YRS. Inspired by the music and characters of the Frozen movie, children will learn dance styles like Ballet, Jazz, and Creative Dance all while dancing to their favorite music! On a fantasy adventure, we will celebrate Coronation Day and have a Crowning Ceremony, have a sing a long dance party, play Frozen games, and create crafts like Elsa snowflakes and a Princess Crown. Princess attire encouraged!

Cheerleading Camp

5-10 YRS. Learn cheerleading jumps, kicks, arm motions, cheers, chants, and formation changes! Kids will be taught a dance and will get to help make up their own cheer. Come craft projects, play games, and have themed dress up days like pajama day, Disney day, and crazy dress day! Grab a friend and join the fun! Performance on the last day of camp. Dance & Art Camp 5-10 YRS.

Each week we’ll feature different art projects using a variety of mediums. Creativity and talent will be developed through exercises designed to stimulate your child’s mind, in an atmosphere that is fun and safe. Your child will take home artwork beautiful enough to display! We’ll also explore different dance styles and routines that will keep your child dancing on their toes. Swimming is optional and available on full day camps. Please provide your child with a snack and bagged lunch (full day) every day along with plenty of healthy drinks or water. NO CLASS: 7/4.
