Camp LGS Aquatics

7-10 YRS.

Camp LGS Aquatics is for kids looking to have fun in the pool with different activities and aquatics sports. Campers may test their balance on log rolling, water races across the pool, and the famous cannonball contest from the diving board. Campers should be able to safely swim in deep water without assistance.

The second level of our JR Guard Leadership Program will see students become a part of our team learning more advanced safety and lifesaving techniques. Leader in Training - Aquatics

13-16 YRS.

Our Leaders-In-Training program provides a great opportunity for youth to build leadership and social skills in assisting our aquatics staff with the younger participants. They will learn specific aquatics skills working with both our regular staff (lifeguards and swim instructors) in addition to assisting with our swim lessons and camps.

Summer Recreation Swim Team 7-17 YRS. Swimmers will receive instruction in stroke techniques as well as competitive techniques including racing dives and turns. Seal Team SCUBA

8-12 YRS.

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for actionpacked fun in a pool taking part in exciting SCUBA “Aqua Missions”. These missions will teach the basics of scuba diving like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and more with plenty of underwater playtime built in. $199 rental fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.

Artistic Swimming Camp 6-11 YRS.

We welcome boys and girls as we explore the magical world of artistic swimming. Our themed camps include an introduction to water, a review of the basic swimming strokes, flexibility training, dance, artistic exploration, and performance techniques. Creative games, teamwork challenges and daily inspirational quotes keep the fun flowing in and out of the pool. The finale demonstration will be held on Fridays at 2:30PM . A 30-day USA Artistic Swimming registration is required.

Aqua Fit/Aqua Zumba Combo 18 YRS. & UP

Make a splash in the first part of this 60-minute class with a low impact, high cardio water workout that tones and tapers the entire body while increasing upper core strength. Then break into a 20-minute exhilarating pool party workout that blends water resistance with the Zumba formula of fun Latin rhythms and beat. Class is held in shallow water and is great for all fitness levels.

Our Family Swim reservations allow the entire family to have fun in the shallow end of the pool with a single reservation. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Reserve your Family Swim time online under the “Lap Swim” section. Cash is not accepted.

NEW Tomales Bay Coastal Kayak

Paddling a kayak in Tomales Bay is a great Bay Area adventure. This protected inlet was formed by the San Andreas Fault and is blessed by generally calm waters, dramatic scenery and wonderful wildlife. At lunch, we will pull ashore at a quiet beach and eat at the site of an old Miwok village. Kayak equipment fee due to the instructor on the day of the trip: $60. Instructor: Greg Meyer
