12TH ANNUAL HAROLD D. ROSENBAUM, MD, ADDRESS AND DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY GRADUATION CEREMONY

In 2011, the department established an annual lectureship in honor of Dr. Harold D. Rosenbaum. This award recognizes his distinguished leadership as the first chair of radiology at the University of Kentucky and as one of the longest serving chairs of radiology in the country.

About Dr. Rosenbaum

BRADLEY L. WILLIAMS, MD, FACR DELIVERED THE JUNE 2024 ADDRESS: “FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER”

About Dr. Williams

Dr. Brad Williams earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2002 and completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at the UK Department of Radiology in 2007, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. During medical school, he was honored with the Arthur Lieber, MD, Award for Excellence in Radiology. Dr. Williams has built a distinguished career in radiology, including affiliations with Radiology Associates of Southern Indiana and Diagnostic Imaging Alliance of Louisville. He is currently a partner with the Radiology Group of Paducah. A committed leader in his field, Dr. Williams has been a longtime member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiology Leadership Institute. He has served as president of the Kentucky Chapter of the ACR and as a Counselor for the organization. In 2020, he was awarded the prestigious designation of ACR Fellow.

Retiring in 1992 after 33 years of service, Dr. Rosenbaum’s career was punctuated by many milestones, including performing the first heart catheterization in Kentucky and creating the country’s first physician assistant training program in diagnostic radiology. Dr. Rosenbaum’s vision and dedication laid the foundation for the thriving department we see today.
