CAMP at AT THE camp the J MARLEEN forkas marleen FOrkAS CAMPS camps The Levis JCC has been providing children of all ages with unforgettable summers since 1986. Our dedicated, caring team is committed to making the camp experience the best it can be for every child, every summer. Camp is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow without pressures from school while developing skills that prepare them for future success. Our camp culture is built on universally accepted moral ideals as well as strong Jewish values. We incorporate respect, honor, good sportsmanship and teamwork into all that we do. Our full-day camp program offers stimulating activities, convenient schedules and experienced staff for summers of fun, well-being and friendship. We welcome campers from all backgrounds to join us for non-stop fun, all summer long! All staff members are thoroughly screened and trained to provide a safe, fun and memorable summer. A registered nurse is on the premises to provide care and medical attention if needed.

Camp is held on a 28-acre gated, secure campus featuring two swimming pools, tennis courts, athletic fields, archery range, trapeze, gymnasiums, playgrounds, science lab, ceramics studio, auditorium, theater stage and a three-level indoor play center.


Families enrolled in 4 or more weeks of camp receive a discounted Fitness Membership* to the Levis JCC Sports & Wellness Center.

Little Campers, Big Adventures Baby & Me Summertime Fun: 5-27 months old Our weekly classes encompass playtime, developmental art, music and fine motor activities in our magical Baby & Me classroom. Classes run from the week of June 11 through August 3, 2018.

Early Childhood: Ages 2-4

Personalized attention, an extra dose of adult supervision and a whole lot of love make our littlest campers feel safe exploring and discovering new experiences in a stimulating environment.

Daily Fun Includes:

Instructional Swim, Sports, Music, Arts & Crafts, Entertainment, V.I.P. Puppets, H2O Zone, Yoga, Zumba, iPad Lab, Space Station, Interactive Exploration Experience, Ooey Gooey Sensory Time

Full day campers enjoy a hot, well-balanced kosher meal and full salad bar. A selection of snacks is offered to all campers.

Extra Special:

Entertainment days feature performers, wild animal shows, theme days and more! Campers welcome Shabbat on Fridays by celebrating with challah, candle lighting and music.

A variety of classic, innovative and dynamic activities give campers the opportunity to try new things, learn the importance of teamwork, and build confidence.

Daily Morning Show, Oneg Shabbat on Fridays, Maccabiah Color War and 4th of July Carnival

road trip:

Outings to water parks, bowling, skating rinks, and other adventures. Starting in 5th grade, campers take overnight trips throughout Florida. Includes meals, snacks, lodging and transportation.


Campers in 1st - 4th grade enjoy special late nights featuring evening swim, scavenger hunts, group games, dance parties, s’mores and more.

Theater Fun, Future Stars theater camp: Ages 8-14

Campers enjoy learning about every aspect of live theatrical productions the creation, production and performance of musical theater - in a program tailor-made for elementary and middle school students. Each 4-week session builds to a rewarding final production both parents and camper-actors will be proud of!

CIT Program: Ages 15-16

Talented teens explore not only their creative side but also go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots.

Our staff are theater professionals who are well-experienced in adult and children’s productions encompassing all facets of musical and dramatic theater.

Special Summers, Special Kids camp kavod: ages 3-22 with special needs

As the premier day camp for special needs camp in South Florida, we provide low staffing ratios (1:1 if needed) with highly credentialed and experienced staff so each child’s individual needs are met. We add new and innovative activities and field trips each year, and offer a myriad of inclusion opportunities on campus with the Levis JCC’s typical camp and off campus in community venues.



Activities include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, science, sensory play, music, drumming, social skills immersion, money management training, community based field trips and more.

Philosophy and staff:

Activities are designed to enhance social, motor, language and other vital life skills that promote greater independence. Emphasis is placed on helping campers make new friends while having fun in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.

We embrace campers with a wide range of disabilities, recognizing each child’s potential in all skill areas. Our goal is to provide a program that promotes each camper’s ability to achieve success. We take great pride in providing a high level of supervision from professionals and trained volunteers. Staff returns year after year, providing campers with continuity in programming and expertise.

New Experiences, Independent Teens Manhigim (Grades 7-9)

Tailor-made for adventurous, independent teens craving fun and friendship-filled summers. Campers hit the road every week to experience favorites like waterskiing, Rapids and state-of-the-art entertainment parks, plus new and exciting ones we introduce every summer, all in Florida! Campers also enjoy overnight and day trips to exciting attractions and on campus activities including sports, art, swim, trapeze, archery and more.

CIT Program (entering 10th Grade)

Teens experience one more summer of camp with our Counselor-in-Training program. CITs assist counselors and specialists each day and enjoy activities as a group, including leadership training and sessions to learn about teen programs available in our community. They leave the program with more self-confidence and gain experience in working with others. CITs become a role model for their younger campers and help create the fun and unique culture that makes camp so special!
