1.Paphos

Paphos is a lovely coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus and, as legends say, thebirthplaceofAphrodite.

The town has good infrastructure and amenities – from shopping malls and shops to modern hospitals and decent road connections. Paphos International Airport is just 15 minutes' drive from the town centre and a modernhighwaylinksthePaphosdistricttothewholeofCyprus. There's a lot going on in Paphos itself to sustain life there. 2.Limassol

Limassol combines local nightlife with a family-friendly atmosphere, creating an excellent destination. Cyprus property sales hit €1.3bn in first quarter of 2022

PropertysalesinCyprusreached€1.3billionduringthefirstquarterof2022,according to a report by the land registry. According to the data, a total of 5,258 property sales took place during this time in Cyprus, with the total value of transactions reaching €1.272billion.“Asexpected,LimassolandNicosiaareresponsibleforthelion'sshareof property sales, while the other districts are moving quite positively as well,” the Real EstateRegistrationCouncilnoted.

In Paphos apartment sales outnumbered those of houses in all the other districts. In the district of Limassol, both the number of total sales (1,581) and their total value, which amounted to €573 million in total, were higher than in any other district. Particular interest was observed for agricultural fields (688) but also for plots of land (439). In Paphos, there were 887 property sales, while their total value reached €186 million. “It is noteworthy that Paphos recorded the highest number of home sales (247),morethananyotherdistrict,”thecouncilremarked.

Ryanair to fly to 32 destinations from Paphos in winter

The Paphos tourism board (Etap) on Friday announcedthatRyanairwillflyto32international destinations from Paphos airport during its 20222023 winter schedule, with 90 flights every week duringthistime.

Etap managing director Nasos Hadjigeorgiou welcomed Ryanair's decision, saying that the destinations included in the airline's winter flight schedulewillboostthestatusofPaphosairport. Among other destinations, Ryanair will be flying to Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Israel, the Netherlands and Ireland. “Paphos tourism has already entered a new orbit and is closer to the goal of returning the destination to the levels of 2019, in operation all year round and with innovative actions to enrich the mixture of visitors and the other various functions it serves,” Hadjigeorgiousaid.

Greece: The most popular holiday destination this year according to TUI - Crete being No.1 on the list

Holiday group TUI expects the highest level of demand for Greece on record this year, its director of Communications Aage Duenhaupt told Athens news agency.

TUI is expected to bring around 3 million holidaymakers to Greece in total. This number is much higher than the 2.8 million visitors that travelled to Greecebeforethepandemic.
