Join Samira Mian & Dr Esra Alhamal and recreate with them the geometric and biomorphic patterns found on the beautiful objects of Leighton House and Sambourne House. In this second workshop, Samira will guide you through the compass and straightedge construction of a complex and beautiful geometric design from the top of the table.
You will need:
Technical compass, 30cm transparent ruler, 2H and 2B pencils, black Ink fine liner pens, eraser, sharpener, colouring pencils or pens, spoon & masking tape. A4 or A3 drawing paper x2 (smooth printer/copy paper, 90gsm or better), A4 or A3 tracing paper x2 (90 gsm or better), 300gsm cold press or rough grain watercolour paper.
