Step 1: Determine if the plates is a complete composition or symmetrical.

This plate is symmetrical, so the circle should be divided in two

Step 2: Draw a general composition to help you with the pavement of the different elements

Step 3: Define the shapes you want to include

Step 5: Add the curves/half circles/ waves to the background

Step 4: Add in the inside details

Step 6:Mirror the design to have a full plate

Step 1: Create the composition with the flowers looking into the same direction

1 Step 3: Add the flower heads in different growth stages

Step 2: Start with the middle leaves and let all the branches spring from it

2 Step 4: Add the leaves to the stems

3 Step 5: Add the border unit that will be repeated
