Washington AGD Hosts Black Tie Masquerade Gala Benefiting the Oral Cancer Foundation Teresa K. Kang, DDS

On Friday, October 3rd 2014 the Washington AGD will host its second annual gala to support the Oral Cancer Foundation. Join us at the Westin Bellevue for this wonderful event and meet other Washington AGD members. Dress up, have fun and support great cause! Like last year, net proceeds will be donated to the Oral Cancer Foundation. The Washington AGD decided to support the Oral Cancer Foundation because like our organization, it advocates oral health, patient care and lifesaving early detection.

The Oral Cancer Foundation is a public service charity that helps with advocacy, information, research and support. Funding to the Oral Cancer Foundation helps maintain web-based support for patients.

As dentists, we need to be involved with oral cancer because we have the opportunity to conduct oral examinations and provide early detection of oral cancer to save lives. Oral cancer is not hidden - it can be seen with our naked eyes. Every year in the US 35,000 people or about 100

Let’s take part in creating awareness of oral cancer and take part in this fun event. Tickets are $125/ ticket; there are table and half-table sponsorships available as well. We are also accepting donations for our live and silent auction. Your attendance and donations will support public awareness, early detection and fund research.
