A Message from your Board members The members of your board have maintained monthly Board meetings and additional meetings and activities to best serve you, our membership. After the last General Meeting in Brussels the German Authority rejected the election of the new board due to mistakes in the voting process. We have agreed to a change of the Articles of Association to avoid this mistake in future elections. As a working solution the Board agreed to create a management committee of all those elected by you to run LEGATO, that we call the board. We got to work immediately and agreed on the key roles. In July 2019 we had a board retreat weekend in Dublin to agree on our key objectives and develop a strategic action plan. We work together in smaller teams focussing on Members services, Various Voices, Communications, Governance and Finance. We have outlined the headlines of this work, some complete, some in progress and some to be achieved. It is a dynamic working document of actions. We want to engage and be transparent to hear what you think, how you can help and support us to lead our organisation to be bigger, better and more effective.
