We are delighted to present the Musical Theatre Society’s 2024 production of Legally Blonde The Musical!

Legally Blonde tells the story of sorority sister Elle Woods on her mission to win back her toxic ex-boyfriend Warner. Along the way, with the help of teaching assistant Emmett, she discovers a true passion for law and love without limits. This camp imagining of the bubbly classic celebrates integrity, determination and individuality.

We have had the most unbelievably fabulous time working with each other, and our ridiculously talented cast and crew.

Elle Woods - Emily Lander

Emily is a triple threat, currently in second year, studying BA Drama: Musical Theatre at Goldsmiths, University of London. After her studies, she aspires to perform professionally and teach drama/performing arts to children and the elderly. This will be Emily’s second production in the Musical Theatre Society at Goldsmiths (Ensemble, ‘Pippin The Musical’ in 2023). Other roles Emily has played; (Maria, ‘The Sound of Music’), (Betty, ‘All In The Timing’), (Girl, ‘Nuts’) (Martha, ‘The Bits Between’ An Original Musical), (Marianne, ‘A Vampyre Story’) and (Judy, ‘Too Much Punch For Judy’).

Emmett Forrest - Sam Sukhai

For as long as he could remember, Sam has had an unwavering passion for musical theatre. Currently a creative computing student, Sam couldn't resist the urge to perform. As his third year began to unfold, a leap of faith led to an audition for "Legally Blonde," marking a pivotal moment. Being cast in this production is celebrated as the highlight of Sam's time here at Goldsmiths.

Warner Huntingdon III - Adam Wagstaff

Adam is a 2nd Year BA Musical theatre student at Goldsmiths, and this his second show as part of the Musical theatre society, being a member of the ensemble in last year's production of 'Pippin He is delighted to be making his principal debut with the society as Warner and is SERIOUSly excited for you to see the show.

Other credits include Fat Sam in "Bugsy Malone', King Mark in "Tristan and Iseult,' Eddie Souther in 'Sister Act Junior Workshop'

Vivienne Kensington - Abigail Annis

Abby is a 2nd year Musical Theatre Student

Her last performance was in 2019 when she was sixteen, now she's 21 and can't wait to get back on the stage! She has always enjoyed playing strong female characters such as Marian Paroo in 'The Music Man' and she feels Vivienne gives her the opportunity to show true human development and the power of strong friendships. She hopes you enjoy this production of Legally Blonde.

Brooke Wyndham - Romy Florin

Romy is a third year Popular Music student at goldsmiths and loves to write and produce music as well as doing live gigs and session singing for companies such as Netflix, Disney Plus and BBC Romy has been a part of many shows at goldsmiths before and explored roles such as Freddy and ensemble member in Carrie the musical and Leading Player in Pippin “Being a part of this show has been so fun! Working with such talented people and being able to have a laugh while simultaneously working out butts off to create something were proud of is the most rewarding thing ever :)”
