Preparing for Your Tour

What should I pack?

Weather is one aspect of travel that no one can control. The wise traveler dresses in layers. Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended, along with comfortable walking shoes. To save space when packing you may want to lay your clothing items flat, smooth them, and roll them. Don’t forget your travel umbrella and a jacket. Many passengers are very sensitive to strong perfumes and aftershaves, so we ask that you think of others as you use them.

What size luggage can I bring?

Unless otherwise specified, luggage handling for 1 suitcase per person with maximum combined dimensions (length, width, height) of less than 62 inches and weighing less than 50 pounds is included during the land portion of a tour. Travelers may also bring a small carry-on, no more than 39 inches combined dimensions.

We are not responsible for everyday wear, scratches, etc. on luggage and are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Luggage restrictions on tours involving air and/or cruise travel may vary slightly, so please check with your agent on details.

What forms of ID do I need?

An increasing number of tours require a valid passport or a government-issued ID. We have tried to provide guidance for this within each tour's details. If you have questions, please check with your agent concerning each tour's specific requirements.

Domestic Travel - Always carry a government-issued Driver’s License or State ID for domestic travel, even if you're not flying.

Domestic Travel Including Flights - To fly within the U.S., a REAL ID-compliant license or ID is required for TSA screening. If yours isn’t compliant, you’ll need a valid passport.

International Travel - For international travel, you must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

Non-U.S. citizens may need additional documentation, such as a visa or permanent resident card, depending on destination and immigration status.

"Booking was easy... I called [my nearest office] numberregistered over phone - received all travel documentation two weeks before departure date. All staff friendly and helpful with questions."
