MOSBY HERITAGE AREA ASSOCIATION 2015 HERITAGE HEROES hilds Burden, president of the Mosby Heritage Area Association, and Wendy Bebie, its chairman, recently made the presentations for the 2015 Heritage Heroes at the National Sporting Library and Museum. Gayle and Tom Delashmutt and Paul Ziluca were named 2015 Heritage Heroes. Kevin Morgan Lee Dwelly, an eighth grader at Wakefield School, received the James Peyton Atkins Memorial Scholarship Award from Jim Atkins for an essay on the Civil War. It was entitled "Civil War Firsts in Loudoun County, Virginia: Dog Money and The Battle at Ball's Bluff - It's All About Perspective." The essay is about money made during the Civil War in Leesburg as well as the first Civil War battle in Loudoun County, The Battle at Ball's Bluff along the Potomac River.
