The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing fire and advanced life support emergency services. Their response area includes rural and semi-rural populations in Rappahannock and Fauquier counties. They rely on community support to fund the purchase of emergency vehicles, firefighting, and emergency medical equipment.
Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. serves the Flint Hill, Huntly and surrounding communities by responding to fire and medical emergencies with trained personnel.
