HISTORY

Founded in 2019 and located in the heart of Amman, Jordan’s capital city, Swefieh Village is an outdoor urban district that offers an array of retail stores, entertainment options, and restaurants and cafes.

FEATURES

An open-air pedestrian promenade, Swefieh Village features six floors of attractions and services along with an underground parking area for visitors. In addition, it also has multi-cuisine dining options. Swefieh Village is also home to various shops that feature local brands and products, including jewelry, clothes and home accessories.

Moreover, the Village has become Amman’s famous place for seasonal markets, children-focused events, art exhibitions, and concerts and performances, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. With plenty of options to choose from, Swefieh Village certainly has something for everyone.

CONCEPT

The project is Inspired by the steel structure framing the village.

The concept focuses on creating a geometric, rectangular and straight-lined, black steel structure frame system. The symbols are hollow and have a curvy stroke to match the cylindrical main building of the village.

The materials used are black steel and matt black acrylic. Some of the signs, especially outdoors, are illuminated to spot easily.

The main colors black, white and torquise. The secondary colors are red, orange and yellow.
