Introduction this journal is a keeper to the quarantine memories; and although writing and visualizing the experience to share with others was tough, it resulted in an amazing documentation that i am grateful for. my visuals, as simple as they are, are sketches of what i was actually going through in a boring but useful surrounding. my blanket is that iconic symbol of this pandemic as it went 2 weeks unwashed, worn and torn, surviving and living this experience with me. this is a very personal journal in which i took 10 mins out of my day to illustrate just so my grandchildren would see what their grandma went through in the year 2020 and how she coped with it by seeing the one positive in all the negativity around. to all those out there flipping through the journey page by page, remember those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end... but they actually did.
24.3 - day 1 The Covid-19 Pattern home doesnt feel so strange anymore as its been a week since i left it. my blanket and i have been cuddled up visiting all the different rooms in this house. and this is why the pattern of this blanket is my covid icon.

25.3- day 2 If I had a Free Day birds chirping, waves colliding and the feel of wet sand beneath my feet, that’s what i miss the most. If i had that day, i would spend it on the beach enjoying the free air, just me and my hat.

26.3 - day 3 Social Distancing distance is against my nature, but for the safety of my loved ones and the people out there, i will definitely make sure the safety measures are being taken into account by keeping my distance.

27.3 - day4 My Hot Drink Recipe this blueberry drink is a potion of calmness. two times a day and you wont get enough. its simply made from a handful of berries, a slice of lemon, mint leaves, one tbp ofHoney and loads and loads of love.
13
28.3 - day 5 Running Away every moment i feel like escaping, i watch a movie on netflix. it is where i travel to spain, fall in love, and rob a bank all from my bed. it is where i live a life free of quarantine, my escape plan.

17
30.3 - day 7 My Favorite Snack i’ve always been a fan of avocaods, but never to this extent. in this quarantine i eat about 3-4 avocados per week with anything i find in front of me; toasts, eggs, salmons or simply just butter. yum!

31.3 - day 8 The Lockdown this blanket has been my quarantine buddy from the very start and this is why it is also my symbol of lockdown. being cudded up in it reminds me of a comfortable cozy colorful cage.
