The Lee Clerk’s office was honored with its 36th consecutive award from the Government Finance Officers Association for excellence in financial reporting. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report was awarded a Certificate of Excellence, which is the highest form of recognition in government accounting and fiscal reporting. The 200+ page financial document is produced by the Clerk’s office at the end of each fiscal year and details Lee County government’s revenue and spending. It contains financial information, including statements of net assets, the balances of county funds and debt information. The full report is available to download at leeclerk.org.

In 2021, Schmucker became both a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Civil Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator. Schmucker is a former Deputy Attorney General in Indiana.

Belcastro is also involved with the Florida Construction Lawyers Legislative Subcommittee.
