A TASTE OF WHAT’S TO COME ..... ARTROOMS 2016

Le Dame Art Gallery is delighted to host this collective exhibition to commemorate the first edition of Artrooms2015 and to learn about the next edition, coming January 2016, of this new fair which promises to showcase talented emerging artists from all over the world. Ten artists selected by Art Curator Miguel Mallol, will represent and be on display, at the Meliá White House; the same venue where ARTROOMS takes place every year at the end of January. ARTROOMS fair is the best place to discover up-and-coming artists, presenting collectors and art enthusiasts with a chance to support the unique and original artworks of international, independent and talented artists. With a “Taste of what’s to come”, we are delighted to exhibit ten international artists such as mysterious Patricio Bosich painting, enigmatic Jean Luc Almond’s portrait and Maarteen van den Bos special textures, passing through the tribal Nataniel Moiane’s representation, the last Joe Reddy´s shoot in the heart of India, the spicy and provocative Lichena Bertinato’s research and the voyeuristic Kevin Vucic Shephard’s photography. Sculpture by Lorenzo Belenguer and his capacity to give another dimension to povera materials, Rosa Migliardi and her harmonic installation finishing with the acid Kevin Dagg satire assembly. We hope you will enjoy this international art exhibition. LICHENA BERTINATO Lichena Bertinato studied Humanities BA(Hons) at the University of Padua and graduated with an experimental thesis on the relationship between writing and photography. Her visual approach refers to the segment of contemporary photography known as staged or tableau-photography. In her latest project I live here, Bertinato has turned towards an intimate portrayal of her domestic life, with a series of isolated and solitary portraits. The recurring theme is her daily struggle with the lack of space she has been coping with since she has moved to London. The photographs show the ways she employed to fit in the tiny spaces of her house, with touching and comic effects. JOE REDDY Joseph Reddy is an award winning fine art photographer, currently in his final year on the BA Photography course at London College of Communication. After winning the John Downtown award at the age of 17, his work was shortlisted for the Royal Academy young artist online summer exhibition. He then went on to win the Piran Strange award, and the Young Photographer’s award at the National Open Art Competition. His photography seeks to represent the world in its natural beauty, focusing on the entities he encounters through everyday experiences. He aims to generate a narrative from the images and asks the viewer to interpret. Focusing on the more banal subjects within his prosaic urban environment, he challenges what one might think is beautiful.
