The Suicide First Aid through Understanding Suicide Intervention (SFAUSI) course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.
In this one day training session you will learn about the factors that may lead to suicide, explore the wider impact of suicide, learn how to confidently ask about suicide and understand how to use the Suicide Safety Plan tool to help a person to stay safe from suicide thoughts.

An introductory course aimed at increasing awareness of conditions falling under the dementia umbrella. In this relaxed and friendly 2 hour session you will learn about the main types of Dementia and symptoms, find out how stigma can affect a person both before and after diagnosis and explore the ways to live well with dementia.

In this relaxed and friendly 2 hour session we will explore how mindfulness, meditation and good sleep hygiene can positively support our mental health and wellbeing. This is a free of charge session delivered by Steve Webb from Healthy Cornwall.
