LMA LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSE
APRIL – JUNE 2024 .

APRIL – JUNE 2024 .
The LMA Leadership Development Course is a 3-month online course focused on developing the leadership skills of participants. It will be delivered through six prerecorded workshops which will be supported by three live drop-in sessions.
The course has been developed by performance psychologist Katie Mobed to provide tools for participants to enhance their leadership skills in three modules: Leading Self, Leading Others and Leading Culture.
Psychologist Oli Dixon will deliver the live drop-in sessions where pre-recorded workshops will be discussed. This is also an opportunity to go through the post-module quizzes, which are set to reinforce learning.
The aim is for participants to gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses, explore personal sources of stress and develop strategies to thrive under pressure, and ultimately acquire the skills to create and lead high performing teams.
Alongside the course delivery, recommended books and online worksheets will be provided to encourage participants to continue their learning in targeted areas.
Katie Mobed is one of the UK’s leading Performance Psychologists. Working in diverse arenas from the sports field to the boardroom, her clients include CEOs, Olympic Champions, elite sports teams, surgeons and educational leaders.
Katie has been embedded within Team GB for the last decade, supporting the country’s most successful athletes and coaches at the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Her work with 21st Century Legacy has helped over 250,000 young people develop key life skills and she co-authored ‘You are a Champion’ with Marcus Rashford.

The Workshops will be accessible on the LMA Online Platform. If you are not already set-up on this, you will receive an email from ‘LMA Institute of Leadership and High Performance’ with the subject ‘New User Registration - LMA Institute of Leadership and High Performance’ asking to verify your account. Once verified, you will have access to the workshops and other course content.
Once you have watched the recorded content for each module, there will be a short quiz to support your learning. These are for your own reflection on the course and marks are not recorded. Answers will be discussed in the live drop-in sessions.
Drop-in sessions will be hosted by Oli Dixon to allow participants to ask questions around workshop topics. They will provide the opportunity to discuss successes, challenges and strategies to put new ideas into action.
