In 2022, The League welcomed new 100 donors. Thank you for supporting ! is back, opening its doors again for ds of adults and caregivers after transitioning to al format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since n average of volunteers from neighboring zations and universities have been creating a fun pportive nightclub experience every month.

My Son Is Thriving At

Matthew brings such friendliness and energy to the group every time he is volunteering. Everyone knows and likes him! The coordinator feels Matthew will naturally blend in with his positive attitude and interest in the people at Helping Up Mission.

I am grateful that Matthew has Personal Supports in his individual plan. Without it, these beneficial opportunities would not exist. Towanda deserves a huge SHOUT-OUT! She is the perfect companion for Matthew. We communicate regularly, she offers helpful suggestions to me, she understands Matthew’s challenges, and is very flexible with her schedule. [She] is always very patient and kind to Matthew. They go to the Planet Fitness Gym, go shopping, run errands, etc. She is teaching Matthew very important life skills, such as waiting in line and staying organized. Yesterday, Towanda took Matthew for a haircut, helped him count out the money, and explained inclu more awesome ways that Towanda is helping Matthew. Sh appreciative of her commitment to Matthew.
