Program Structure Each day at Camp Blue Sky includes new excitement and experiences. Throughout the summer, daily themes, special events and field trips supplement the programs of each division. Your children will be thrilled this summer.

Day Camp Structure. Away Camp Feel. Camp Blue Sky is divided into four divisions according to the ages of our campers. While each division is involved in our traditional day camp program, all of our activities are designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of the campers in each division.

Our Divisions The Pee Wee Division

The Middle Division

Ages 4 and 5 (Rising Kindergarteners) This division offers campers their first opportunity to discover the fun of a traditional summer camp. Our young campers will experience a modified version of the “big camp in a safe and smaller setting. Activities are designed for the campers to work in groups and incorporate creative thinking, teamwork and leadership.

Ages 7 to 9 This division will harness the energy and enthusiasm typical of campers this age and challenge each child to experience success. Team building is a priority for the activities planned for this division.

The Junior Division Ages 5 and 6 This division will get a safe and nurturing introduction into the world of Summer Camp. Activities will be designed to reinforce positive behaviors and capture the natural curiosity of children at this age.

The Senior Division Ages 10 to 13 Recognizing that children this age need activities and time frames that depart from the traditional day camp setting, the senior division program is designed to foster independence. Activities include a wide variety of field trips, outreach opportunities and service to the community.

Within each division, campers are put into small groups based on age and gender. Every group of campers has a devoted counselor who is there to guide them each and every day of the summer.
