Welcome to the 2017 Highlander Leadership Awards Welcome Family, Friends and esteemed NJIT Faculty and Staff, As Coordinator of the Highlander Student Leadership Awards, I would like to take this time to thank you for attending today’s ceremony. The Highlander Student Leadership Awards has been a long standing tradition at NJIT, with the purpose of recognizing students for their leadership commitment to student life in & outside of the classroom. NJIT is comprised of students who volunteer hours of their time and energy to enhance student life by volunteering to serve in leadership positions within clubs and student organizations. Today’s award ceremony is to recognize those special students.
