We are delighted with the collective achievements of our graduating Loyola College Class of 2025, and even more so with the growth we have witnessed in their character throughout this six year journey.
At Loyola College, success is never measured solely by numbers or statistics. Our mission is to form young people who are intellectually competent, open to growth, committed to justice, grounded in faith and empowered to be more. Academic excellence is important, but it is only one dimension of the holistic education we provide.
Our aim is human excellence. We believe that true education shapes the whole person, mind, heart, and spirit. Every student is encouraged to discover and develop their unique gifts so they can contribute meaningfully to the world. While we celebrate strong academic outcomes, we see them as personal achievements of individuals we know and value, not as mere data points.
This year, we are pleased to note a significant upward shift in our academic results. For the third consecutive year, our median ATAR has increased. The number of students who have achieved an ATAR of 90+ has increased, as has the number of students achieving an ATAR of 80+ and our Median Study Score is 30.
We congratulate the 21 students who attained an ATAR 90 or above, as well as Rachael Stanton (FADB) who achieved a perfect Study Score of 50 in General Mathematics. In addition, I commend our 2025 College Dux Sienna Ganter (CAMA - 98.35), Proxime Kevin Miao (XEJS - 98) and VCE VM Student of the Year, Ruby Bishop (FHPL). These results reflect dedication and perseverance but they are only part of the story.
We also celebrate the qualities that cannot be measured. Leadership, compassion, resilience, and a commitment to justice. These are the hallmarks of a Loyola College graduate. As our students move forward, we trust they will continue to live out our Ignatian values, using their talents to make a positive difference in the world.
We send them forth with every blessing for their exciting futures, confident that they will strive for excellence in all aspects of life.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAM
Loyola College offers a rich and diverse co-curricular program that allows every student to discover, develop, and celebrate their unique talents. Each activity falls broadly into one of five areas – Service and Spirituality, Clubs and Societies, Performing Arts, Public Speaking and Debating, Sports and Outdoor Activities. Grounded in our Ignatian tradition, we believe education extends far beyond the classroom, providing opportunities for students to explore their passions, challenge themselves, and strive for their own personal ‘Magis’.
