While Bethlehem’s Inns are bursting with the Census travelers, the stable is out of control with their animals. Our youngest friends lead us on an encounter with the Angel Gabriel who points us to the true Good Shepherd, Jesus! No ticket needed - all are invited. Los Posadas Advent Dinner December 4, 5:30 p.m. LCR’s proud tradition of sharing food from around the world continues! Please sign-up to bring your favorite dish representing your heritage. This year we’ll sing along with Mary & Joseph as they wander along to find an inn, in a new tradition shared with us by our friends in Guatemala, called Los Posadas.

Sharing the Christmas Spirit Community Caroling This year our carolers will be visiting our neighbors at Atria and the Ronald McDonald House to spread cheer to those displaced from their homes this holiday season. All voices are welcome to rehearse & carol with us. Rehearsal Dates: November 22 at 7 p.m. & December 3 at 2 p.m. Caroling Dates: Tuesday, December 6 at 7 p.m. & Sunday, December 11 @ 2 p.m. Christmas Choir If Christmas hymns are your favorite to sing, we have a great opportunity for you! All voices are invited to learn the Christmas Eve carols for the 8 and 10 p.m. services. We will rehearse after Wednesday Advent worship at 7:40 p.m. Advent Projects Pick an apple off the tree in the Sanctuary Lobby to help provide gifts & basic needs to families from Brumby Elementary. ELCA Good Gifts, which make an impact on communities across the globe, will be available after that. We’ll also be collecting supplies to create Midwife Kits to be shared in communities served by our companion congregation in Guatemala. Christmas Poinsettias Purchase a poinsettia in honor or memory of your loved ones this Advent season. The plants will adorn the Sanctuary on Christmas Eve and will be available for pick-up on Christmas Day. The sale will take place in December.
