• Crispy Chocolate Bark Line a baking sheet with cooking spray–coated foil. Microwave 6 oz. chocolate or vanilla candy coating (almond bark) and 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips in a bowl 1½ to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in 3/4 cup crisped-rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies. Spread evenly on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup more cereal. Chill at least 30 minutes. Break into pieces.

• Flaky Marshmallow Treats Mix cornflakes with butter, melted marshmallows, and green food coloring. Shape into wreaths, holly, or trees; decorate with Red Hots candies. • Dirty Snowballs Stir together 1/4 cup each crushed cornflakes and sweetened coconut flakes in a shallow bowl. Roll sugar cookie dough balls (from a 16-oz. pkg.) in cornflake mixture. Sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake according to package directions. • Cereal Milk Cocktails Soak 1½ cups cornflakes in 2 cups milk 20 minutes; strain. Shake together 2 oz. cornflake mixture with 2 oz. bourbon and 3/4 oz. warmed honey syrup (equal amounts of honey and water, stirred) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass or cocktail glass. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.
