Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of Newsies for a wonderful weekend of performances. A big thank you to Mr. Hayworth, Ms. Williams-Krubiner and all of the parents who supported them both in the audience and behind the scenes.

Please note we will be conducting our first lockdown drill on Tuesday, March 26th at 8:45 AM. This is a routine safety procedure to ensure preparedness in case of emergencies.

Teachers have been reviewing procedures and preparing students for the drill.

A lockdown drill will be initiated for one or more of the following situations: a major incident in the community or on campus, or information from the police department. This may include situations such as rioting, a hostage situation, or a weapon or threat on campus. The drill will be supervised by school staff and safety measures will be in place throughout.

Laurel Hall School is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion as integral to our mission, school culture, and educational program.

Just this month our Admissions Coordinator Stephanie Humble joined the LA Diversity Practitioner Group, a space for representatives of DEI at private schools all over Los Angeles We are excited to continue to bring school-wide events and cultural celebrations to our campus

Our Diversity Mixer at Laurel Tavern last night was a great success. Thank you to the families who attended and are interested in supporting LHS with DEI events.

Hi Hornet Fam!

We’re less than a week from the Jog-a-thon, and so far we’ve raised around 20k! One third of our way to our goal of 60k. We can do it! I dare you to send out

5-10 emails to friends and family this weekend. Most people just want to be asked! Our camps auction is LIVE! All of these incredible camp opportunities have been donated, so alllllll proceeds go directly to the school. It’s open to the public, so feel free to share on social.

A few event updates for the remainder of March! and don’t forget about our Gala on April 20th! National Quilters Day Success!

Students Jillian, Max, Kyle, Izzy and Shane pictured above earned service points when they helped assemble quilts on National Quilt Day March 16. They did a wonderful job while learning a new skill and having fun working with the Emmanuel Quilters.
