The mental health of university students and staff has been a focus of increasing concern in the UK, there is a large amount of evidence suggesting that large numbers of the community and campus are experiencing poor mental health during their university experience

There is an increased demand of services to support mental health with reports suggesting that some universities are seeing a doubling in the number of students accessing support

Given the severe negative consequences that poor mental health can have for learning, achievement and the health and life of all involved, the wellbeing of university communities is clearly an important issue that requires attention.

THE SOFTWARE COMPONENTS

The Wellbeing Management platform – This is available to student support services, or HR staff and invited professionals and enables the management of an individuals case The database allows for data to be recorded as audio and video files, in addition to conventional data entries, and also facilitates live streaming and conference calls The system is fully audited and has the ability to maintain sensitive data and files on a restricted basis Behind this sits the audit and also the reporting module allowing for detailed management information to be produced

The Web Portal – This allows for cases to be reported by individuals online and for system messaging to the portal, anonymously should this be required There is also the facility for relatives/peers to raise concerns or log updates The reponsive web design allows individuals immediate access to manned resources within departments, out of office hours web resources, video calls during crisis, conference calling for virtual face to face support and access to health professionals and support peers

The Staff and Student support platform has been developed to facilitate the recording of support provided to staff and students through the use of our responsive web design and case management database.

Incident Management Software

Our modular and flexible platform manages various reporting requirements and has been designed to provide automated workflows, improve audit and accountability and utilise features that improve efficiency.

Our Incident Management Software can be used to record, assign, monitor, escalate, review and close a variety of incidents or wellbeing cases with ease To include security, safeguarding and compliance providing a highly flexible and easy to use single reporting system

The platform components; the management database, web application and mobile app, offer the facility to handover, a feature that allows for important information to be briefed when operated between shifts, bringing departments together for case management Provide for automated text and email alerts for those within the organisation and also the public reporting incidents. Security staff are able to record incidents and shift supervisors can allocate these for resolution These incidents can of course be wide ranging and cover all kinds of security, personal or pastoral issue for example: the platform can assist with the management of environmental health situations, that could be continuously evolving, and facilitate the roll out of the relevant procedures and guidelines, within the community, enabling an organisation to provide a real time information chain.

There are also features within the App that can expedite a response to an incident by enabling the Management Centre, or individuals, to find the closest security officer and also the ability for individuals to live stream directly to the Management Centre.

Where incidents are recorded the software can facilitate any associated file uploads, to include the following file types; video, CCTV, audio, photographic, documents and scanned, handwritten statements where needed Sensitive material can be saved and held as ‘private’ for selective users only and records can be exported, as a required file type, where needed, for example - to use within an email to police
