We are proud to present the La Salle College Preparatory’s Five-Year Strategic Plan: Innovation, Leadership, and Sustainability. Developed in collaboration with our administration, faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees, this plan charts a course of action that will guide La Salle toward unprecedented student opportunities, outstanding scholastic achievement, and robust out-of-classroom learning and inspiration. Rooted in our Lasallian and Catholic foundation, the goals and objectives outlined in this strategic plan will ensure we achieve our mission to provide an outstanding academic experience and education for our students. To remain true to its mission and vision, La Salle College Preparatory will aspire to adapt to a changing future with unknown situations and circumstances. Our strategic vision leads us in leadership to an exciting future where the whole child is holistically challenged to learn, serve, and lead through their high school and university experiences. Mission
La Salle College Preparatory is a Roman Catholic educational community inspired by the traditions of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. Our college preparatory program enables diverse and academically capable students to become extraordinary people.
Statement
La Salle College Preparatory is only as strong as the college readiness expectations we hold for our students. In the future, our students will face the high expectations of the real world and will need to be well-positioned and highly skilled to achieve college acceptance and or early career readiness.

La Salle College Preparatory strives to develop and nurture conscientious, relational, innovative, and community-focused individuals who exhibit Lasallian values in the spirit of St. John Baptist de La Salle. We are committed to providing an environment that allows all students to explore their passions, take risks, and discover pathways to excellence. We will ensure all students have the resources, opportunities, and experiences necessary to be skilled service-oriented citizens of strong character who will thrive and lead in the world. We will continue to modernize facilities to support renowned programs while attracting top-level faculty and staff to develop college and career-ready students highly engaged with excellent curricular and co-curricular programs. We will assure that the Lasallian Five Core Principles are relevant to the future, inspiring students to “Learn, Serve, and Lead” in their respective communities and the world.
Vision
To support this goal, a Mission Department has been established to identify areas of growth and action. This department will also be tasked with studying the Declaration of the Lasallian Educational Mission and exploring ways to ensure the core principle of Inclusive Community is lived out at La Salle College Preparatory.

Continuous development of masterful pedagogy, innovative programs, and preparing our students for future careers are cornerstones of our purpose at La Salle College Preparatory. This strategic goal will allow us to deeply study the importance of pedagogical and assessment measurables and identify and define innovative programs for our students.

• This goal also assesses the technological needs for expanding the reach of our learning environments.
Finally, developing strong community partnerships with local leaders like Pasadena City College and Shriners Hospital for Children will allow us to expand learning opportunities for our students.

This goal ensures the Catholic heritage and mission of La Salle College Preparatory is fully integrated within every facet of our school community. This goal integrates the Lasallian Five Core Principles into the ethos of our students, allowing them to live out these principles in their daily lives.

• We have identified four career exploration pathways allowing students to gain hands-on experience, follow their passions and spark interest amongst those in the discernment process.
• These exciting centers explore student passions in Medical Innovations, Global Initiatives & Cultural Perspectives, Finance & Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment & Design. This goal will also develop a faculty profile and premiere evaluative structure and explore different learning options for our students and prospective students.

• Studying our current footprint and developing robust plans for added infrastructure is necessary as we look to expand the opportunities available to our students.
• La Salle’s long-term sustainability and success depend on our school’s ability to attract and retain mission-appropriate students who thrive in our robust academic and co-curricular environment successfully.
Enhancing and modernizing the spaces our students learn is key to ensuring continued success and robust learning experiences across all academic disciplines and programs.
Fostering Long-Term Growth and Sustainability
DEVELOPING INITIATIVES TO ENSURE LSCP REMAINS HIGHLY COMPETITIVE AND SUSTAINABLE
• The collection of this important data will result in the development of a lasting, multi-year enrollment management plan to navigate and achieve the school’s sustainable enrollment goals.
• Finally, our goal is to provide opportunities for underserved students to join our Lasallian community through a robust program of need-based financial aid, in addition to merit-based scholarships.
• This goal ensures the development of a financial model to assess the school’s ability to launch new projects, as outlined in our Master Plan.
• This goal will allow us to understand where La Salle stands in the competitive marketplace of parochial, private, and public schools while also analyzing, identifying, and supporting the financial needs of families.
Attracting and Retaining the Best Talent
• Amongst the highest priorities of this department will be the continuous development and growth of our San Miguel Scholarship Program, which provides full, four-year, all-inclusive scholarships to students whose families fall at or below the poverty line, thereby allowing these students to receive an outstanding opportunity to be a part of our Lasallian community.
• This goal commits us to explore and identify the means to make La Salle College Preparatory the employer of choice in the San Gabriel Valley. This means developing practices of hiring and selecting the most qualified, mission-driven faculty and staff and providing them with the best tools and resources to thrive as community members. We are also committed to providing robust and meaningful professional development and growth opportunities for employees to ensure they are well-equipped to inspire our students and serve our parents. • This goal positions La Salle as a leader in Catholic education, by developing continuous innovative learning opportunities, futuristic programs, dynamic facilities, and robust opportunities for students to experience.
ENSURE LSCP IS THE EDUCATIONAL EMPLOYER OF CHOICE Our employees are the lifeblood of our school and ensure our students are capable of reaching their highest potential and that parents are served accordingly.
• To achieve this ambitious goal, we will develop an Institutional Advancement Office that actuates our financial and philanthropic aspirations. This reimagined department will focus on developing and growing new and existing sources of income to provide scholarships and funds and identifying key partners for giving and philanthropy.
