With a degree in Fine Art and having been GCF accredited since 2004, it is not surprising that Joe Nicholson‘s businesses are so full of creativity and professionalism. Joe is now totally focused on building both Sun Gallery and Foursticks Framing – but Joe was not always so sure about his ambitions! When he left art college, he lived in a tent in Cornwall. He started an apprenticeship in a local workshop crafting highend clocks and mirrors and was captivated by skills including raised gesso and gilding.
Joe says: This year, more than ever, will see stronger relationships within the art world. I believe that creativity, shopping local and supporting your local economy is key to rebuilding our communities. Many artists have found the tools and confidence to get more of their work out there and we support them 100%. As a gallery, it is our job to encourage and promote healthy creative practice and provide a physical, accessible environment where art can be experienced in the flesh.
