Kidz Love Soccer Growing Up Active Growing Up Healthy

Just for Kicks Soccer 2–9 yrs Harley Ludwig/Just for Kicks Soccer Staff Almond Park Just4Kicks conducts instructional lessons that develop skills as well as emotional development required for the game of soccer. Each session will focus on a particular aspect of the game utilizing specifically designed activities. A typical session will include a warm-up, topic introduction, demonstrations, activities to learn, practice on a certain skill, recreational games, and a soccer match. The emphasis is on learning and having fun because J4K puts the PLAY back into playing soccer.

• K Soccer With the expectation of having fun, participants will learn to love soccer. Skills will be introduced and built upon, as well as, working on the team concept of soccer. Recreational games guide learning through play, and all those skills and drills worked on will begin to make the game and strategies of soccer really come together for Kindergarten-aged players. 8 classes. • K1 Soccer The real games begin… Through the guidance and direction of Just4Kicks staff, play and learn through a relaxed atmosphere, where learning and growing are the goals. Players work their skills by utilizing a practice method of game play. Scrimmages will also be a part of each class. Sportsmanship, fun and increased knowledge of the sport of soccer will also be a part of K1 Soccer. 8 classes. Sat 3–3:45 pm 9/22–11/10 $87

Kidz Love Soccer, Skillz & Scrimmage 7–10 yrs Kidz Love Soccer Staff May Nissen Park A session experience includes age specific warm-up demonstrations, drills and recreational games. The Kidz Love Soccer staff will redefine the concept of the game. Young players will hear these four main points during their KLS experience: Sportsmanship, Effort, Learning, and Fun (S.E.L.F.). Cleats are recommended but not required. Shin guards are mandatory. Balls and goal nets are provided. On rainy days, check out the NEW KLS Rain-out Hotline: 1-888-372-5803. 7-week session. 3–4 yrs Pre-K soccer is a chance to explore all the fun skills children can learn with a soccer ball. Also, that dreaded “bunch ball” play at this age will be worked on, while developing and learning group dynamics. Skills such as dribbling the ball, stopping, passing and social skills are learned in this fun atmosphere. 8 classes. Sat 4:20–4:50 pm 9/22–11/10 $87

2–6 yrs Kidz Love Soccer Staff May Nissen Park This is a non-competitive recreational environment for children to learn and play the world’s most popular sport! Includes age specific warm-up demonstrations, drills and recreational games. Young players will hear these four main points during their KLS experience: Fun, Learning, Effort, and Sportsmanship. 6 yrs+ Jill Harmon RLCC Children are in group activities that build strength, coordination, confidence and overall fitness. Participants will work in groups, but will also get one-on-one time so they can see and feel growth in their own personal fitness levels. Classes organized in a more traditional physical education format but with a fun, energetic pace. Some nutrition will also be incorporated. Monthly starting Sept. 10. M 3–4:15 pm Monthly $63

• 2–4 Grades Soccer Passing, shooting, dribbling, GOAL! The development now is an emphasis on putting it all together, even the team. All teaching is conducted through play and fun activities. Visually learning the “how and why” of the plays of the game take place as the team works through scrimmages and game situations. Defensive and offensive tactics and strategies are practiced through small-sided games. Emphasis on fun and learning not winning or keeping score. Individual and team skills are equally important. Expectations of each position in a small-sided game format are explained and developed for an exceptional soccer experience. 8 classes. Sat 2–3 pm 9/22–11/10 $87
