LARA PAIM
Artist, scenographer, cultural producer, architect and urban planner. In the processes and cycles that involve my artistic training, I see myself as a curious, investigative and creative person, but above all a political and collective being. It was in the Architecture and Urbanism course where I was able to study the relationships between space, politics, memory and belonging. During this journey, I dedicated myself in particular to the exercise of thinking about the city and its spatial relationships, to understanding everyday life as a creative and revolutionary potential, I see the urban as a space for our society to act, laden with political values, social and artistic.
I dedicate myself to 3 years in projects of artistic installations and workshops of artistic-architectural-environmental education, especially the Flutua collective,where you can experience a close contact with collective creation, which involves exchanges of knowledge through art, affection and touch
ART, BODY, CITY, ACTION!
In defense of a city-home that shelters its antitheses and feeds its diversities, I propose this object, sometimes a cocoon, a bubble, a little hut, sometimes a samba circle, a cinema, an open-air fair, a theater. A simple, malleable, metamorphic architectural object that communicates: occupy me, use me, make me, configure this city-space the way you want.

FLUTUA
FLUTUA is a collective that works with educational workshops and inflatable structures made of plastic waste in schools, universities, vulnerable communities and arts, architecture and urbanism, design and entertainment events.
INFLAAMÁVEL was the first inflatable production by the collective FLUTUA. It was installed in the neighborhood, former settlement of Glória, in the city of Uberlândia, for interaction with the people who lived there, especially the children.

FLUTUA + TOMIE OHTAKE
Installation made for the First Instituto Tomie Ohtake Leroy Merlin Design Award.
MANUAL is an interactive environment, built with recycled black plastic garbage bags and with a cylindrical-domed dimension, 3 meters in diameter at the base and 2.5 meters in height. The lighting is connected to sensors on the floor and to a totem with little neon hands, provoking the occupants to play with the LED lights. The black lights are activated only when all hands are joined, demonstrating the power of SHARE and playing with the white writing drawn on the wall of the structure.

Workshop and installation
carried out in the Santa Clara settlement, in Uberlândia, with the Social Projects Religol and Florescer
We made, with and for them, giant soap bubbles and a mini inflatable shelter, which we left there for later activities. The children were part of the whole process of building and experimenting with the activities and were fully involved.

Project developed at the Center for Research in Scenography and Costume Design from Shed Cine Horto 2021. Where do I fit? What are the limits between the home, the city and the places that women can and should occupy? Can the city be shelter? At what point will she stop being a danger?
Between repelling and sheltering, where does it fit to be a woman in the city? it is a work that arose from investigations and discomforts shared between the members of the group about women, space and the city. Between repelling and seeking shelter, the female body resists in hostile urban spaces that communicate at all times that that is not its place, in shop windows and on sidewalks, the idea of a body-object that can be
consumed, bought, plasticized always prevails.

What is it like to be a woman in the city? The answer to this questioning is a constant construction, a collage that permeates my particular experience and that of different other women in different contexts, always intersecting issues of gender, race and class. How to express our subjectivities in a city built by a logic that objectifies us? What if my street was like this? Occupied by women, women artists, free women, women working, women fighting, women resisting”.
