Q: Can LAPFCU Associates win the sweepstakes?
A: No. LAPFCU Associates, agents, and representatives, as well as their family members, are ineligible to participate.
Q: Does ANY Visa Platinum Rewards credit card purchase count toward the sweepstakes?
A: Yes, any Platinum card purchase made by a member June 1 - August 31 counts as one sweepstakes entry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No entries awarded for finance charges, fees, cash advances, convenience checks, ATM withdrawals, foreign transaction currency conversion charges, or insurance charges
• If a member returns a purchase for a refund, that sweepstakes entry will be withdrawn
Q: Is a MINIMUM purchase amount required to count as an entry?
A: No minimum purchase amount is required.
Q: How do I know if a member has been notified about the Platinum Rewards card sweepstakes?
A: In the member’s record, the Miscellaneous Field will have the code DYD2023. This code tracks members who were notified of the promotion.

A: Yes. As long as the Platinum Rewards card is activated and used within the promotion timeframe (by August 31, 2023), purchases will count toward sweepstakes entries.

Q: When will sweepstakes winners be chosen and announced?
A: The prize drawing will be at 10 a.m. on September 29 at our Van Nuys headquarters. Winners do NOT need to be present ; we will notify them by email/phone September 29. A list of winners will be available at www.lapfcu.org.
