Betty L. Jones Friends and acquaintances of Betty Jones are cordially invited to attend an open house honoring her 90th birthday. Duane and Judy (Kiplinger) Vernon of Lansing recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Their celebration took place May 13, 14, and 15, at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. They were married May 2, 1986, at the Michigan State University Alumni Chapel in East Lansing. The couple have six children, Rick (Marie) Vernon, Nancy Vernon Olenski, Mary Jo Vernon Paquette, Jo Ann (Tom) Klein, Mary Jane Fox, and Amy Fox, and 10 grandchildren. Judy is retired from Waverly Com-
munity Schools, where she was employed for 27 years. Duane is employed at CBCS (Credit Bureau Collection Services) in public relations and marketing, and is in his 51st year in the credit reporting and collection business. Judy was born and raised in Charlotte, is a graduate of Charlotte High School, and Lansing Business University. Duane is a native of lthaca, graduated from lthaca High School, and is a graduate of Michigan State University. Duane has also been a co-host of the “Spartan Tailgate Show” and “Fans
