Furnishing Hope

Notes From Clients

I never imagined we would be here. My family was homeless. We were blessed to receive help from Council for the Homeless to get into a home, but we did not have any furniture. We are so thankful for everything!

- NW Furniture Bank Client

This experience is one that I will always remember. Being homeless and then getting an apartment with no furniture, but then being able to create a place for my family that feels like our own space is incredible. Thank you NW Furniture Bank. Thank you so much.

- NW Furniture Bank Client

Today has been the best blessing to come my way since I can remember when. The staff and volunteers made me feel comfortable and welcome as I picked out my furniture. Thank you so much

NW Furniture Bank helps restore hope, dignity and stability in our community by recycling donated furniture to people in need. Willing furniture store partners and local donations provide a steady source of furniture which would otherwise end up in the dump or sold at a loss. We serve victims of domestic abuse, people suffering loss from fire and natural disasters, foster children and especially families coming from transitional housing who are trying to rebuild their lives.

This is where we take old mattresses and break them down into components that are resold. Thousands of mattresses and boxsprings are kept out of landfills annually.

This is the reail program that helps support the NW Furniture Bank. We sell new and genlty used furniture as a revenue stream that helps make our work possible.
