Nguma Island Lodge offers peace and tranquillity with spectacular and exclusive views over one of the largest lagoons in the north-west of the Okavango Delta. The lodge is situated on the banks of the beautiful lagoon, bordered by palm trees, papyrus and reed beds. Accommodation is in eight stilted luxury Meru-style en-suite tents set among large indigenous trees. Nguma Island Lodge offers a relaxed family atmosphere. It is also a fishing, mokoro and birdwatchers’ paradise. At the lodge, meals include full English breakfast, hot or cold lunch and a three-course dinner.

Audi Camp, established in 1993, is located 12 km north of Maun on the road to the Moremi Game Reserve. Audi means ‘fish eagle’ in Setswana. It is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River, the southernmost tributary of the Okavango Delta. Accommodation is in luxury en-suite tents on raised wooden decking overlooking the river, mini-Meru tents and large dome tents with stretcher beds. There are also many shaded camping areas, some with power points.

In addition, there is a campsite that can accommodate 10 campers in twin bedded units with shared ablutions. There are eight camping sites for small and large groups and the recently revamped campsite now boasts its own restaurant and full bar. Nguma Island Lodge is just a 40-minute boat ride from the main Okavango River, where tigerfish abound and the many inlets offer good bream fishing. The lodge provides four large boats taking six to eight people. Special boating arrangements for fly fishing groups can be made on request.
