Introducing the International Trustee Emma Chang Greetings LaMissTenn! My name is Emma Chang and I am beyond honored to serve as your 2020-2021 International Trustee. This year alongside LaMissTenn, I will be serving Florida and CNH as their trustee! A little bit about me: I am a senior from Southern California in the CNH KIWIN’S District and I love all things blue! Last year, I served as the Governor of CNH KIWIN’S and I’m so excited to use my experience to serve you all, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for anything International or personal! As an International Trustee, I will not only serve 3 sister districts (Miss-Flo-Cal!), but also chair the International Programs and Partners Committee. In essence, this committee will be working to revamp and analyze the relationship between our current International charities and partners as well as provide more resources for Key Clubbers around the world on how to further their service to their homes, schools, and communities! This year, we will also be overseeing the YOF grant and the submission process, as well as focusing on new campaigns for our International districts and Kiwanis Family. I’m looking forward to this year and I can’t wait to work with you all! I truly admire all of your district’s spirit, service and commitment to our organization. If you ever have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me at any time! You can reach me at emma.chang@keyclub.org or on Instagram at @emmacchang. Let’s have a fantastic year! Emma Chang

Outstanding Club Idea Hard work will be recognized

The outstanding club of the month goes to Caddo Parish Magnet High School (CMHS) located in Shreveport, Louisiana. During the Covid-19 pandemic, CMHS Key Club managed to work together by staying active and participating in their local district Key Club activities such as service projects. CMHS Key Club officers work hard on their lieutenant governors project. One example of their service project they have done was donating electronics to the NCADV, or National Coalition Against Domestic Violence; a fundraising program ran by donations of old electronics. CMHS Key Club have also come up with the “Voices of Shreveport, a service project that preserves the oral history of Shreveport by interviewing elderly people in nursing homes in their local area; recording their interviews and uploading those interviews to their local Key Club website. Thank you all so much for showing your love and passion to Key Club! Continue the hard work!
