Educational Foundation Board Jerre L. Stead (Iowa 1965) was appointed the new chairman of the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation during the 53nd General Assembly held in Phoenix. Professionally, Stead is the executive chairman and CEO of Englewood, Colorado,-based IHS Inc., one of the leading global providers of critical technical information, decision-support tools, and related services. He became executive chairman of IHS Inc. December 1, 2000, after retiring from Ingram Micro in May 2000, where he served as chairman and CEO. Jerre assumed the additional role of CEO for IHS Inc. on September 20, 2006. upon Stead’s appointment, Lambda Chi Alpha would also like to recognize H. Dean Sellers (Florida State 1966) for his tremendous service as the previous board chairman. Since 2006, Sellers has been an important member of the board, serving as treasurer before being elected chairman in July 2008. Student Advisory Committee The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) discusses topics facing the Fraternity and often develops legislation to be submitted to the General Assembly. Furthermore, SAC provides the Grand High Zeta with the undergraduate perspective, concerns, and opinions that are an inherent part of the Fraternity’s decision-making process. Each SAC member is responsible for maintaining regular contact with the chapters in his regional conclave and keeping them informed about General Fraternity developments. • • • • • • • • • •
