Como en un cuento de ciencia ficción, la humanidad entera está acechada por un virus casi desconocido que puede ser mortal. El afuera se vuelve peligroso. Permanecemos en casa.
La cuarentena trajo el encierro y la imposibilidad de reunirnos con otros. La virtualidad se convirtió en nuestra aliada para acercarnos y mostrarnos nuevos modos de aprender y de trabajar.
La convivencia familiar forzada nos obliga a compartir todo y querernos hasta el hartazgo. El tiempo se detiene, corre, no sabemos si es hoy o ayer. Es un tiempo sin tiempo donde los pequeños momentos son los que importan. Se suceden los días, iguales pero distintos, llenos de horas creativas, ociosas, aburridas. Esas cosas que no hacíamos y que hacemos hoy, las cosas del sin tiempo. La vida entre paréntesis.
El sol es el que entra por las ventanas, las plantas son las del balcón. Afuera reina el silencio, un silencio tal que nos permite escuchar nuestros propios latidos. Los límites entre el adentro y el afuera se borran.
Fotografío a mis hijas e hijos en estos días de cuarentena. El mundo tal y como lo habitamos hasta ahora ya no existe. ¿Qué marca les quedará de estos tiempos?

As in a science fiction story, the entire humankind is stalked by an almost unknown virus that can be deadly. The outside becomes dangerous. We stay at home.
Quarantine brought confinement and the impossibility of meeting with others. Virtuality became our ally to bring us closer and show us new ways of learning and working.
Forced family coexistence compels us to share everything and to love each other to exhaustion. Time stops, runs, we do not know if it is today or yesterday. It is a timeless time where the small moments are the ones that matter. The days follow one another, same but different, full of creative, idle, boring hours. Those things that we did not do and that we do today, the things of timelessness. Life in parenthesis.
The sun is the one that enters through the windows, the plants are those on the balcony. Outside, silence reigns, a silence that allows us to listen to our own heartbeat. The boundaries between inside and outside are blurred.
I take pictures of my daughters and sons in these days of quarantine. The world as we have inhabited it up to now no longer exists. What mark will these times leave on them?
