Welcome to the new Lalage Beaumont collection for spring and summer 2024.
For this season I have added many new silhouettes and also included new versions of one or two styles from my first ranges in 2004. The cyclical nature of fashion is currently bringing back into focus styles from the late 90s and early 00s, and as my brand is approaching its 20th anniversary, it seemed appropriate to embrace this renaissance.
Colours for the forthcoming season include ever popular navy and ivory alongside white highlighted with wonderful bright flecks and prints, and pastels in shades of pink, grey and sky blue. For spring and early autumn light-weight wools feature prominently, and both our versatile embroidered faille with a striking border design and our new crepe cady offer seasonless solutions to unpredictable weather. And re-introduced to the collection this year are silk chiffons and cotton prints, much requested for overseas weddings and events. Of particular note is the stunning French georgette with embroidered dots, woven on one of the very few specialist looms remaining in Lyon.
For the ideal finishing touch to any outfit, our handbag collection with its very wide colour range solves many accessorising problems. Pastel tweeds blend beautifully with pale pink or topaz bags; blue, green and turquoise look wonderful with cobalt, whilst silver or white can work with anything.
