OUR HANDBAG STORY
A lifelong passion borne of a childhood memory and a dedication to enduring design and exquisite craftsmanship – the story of Lalage Beaumont handbags is one of elegance, artistry, and unwavering vision.
The journey began in the 1960s when a young Lalage was captivated by her mother’s new white handbag, brought back from a trip to Europe. The structured silhouette, square gold locks, and effortless sophisticated chic, ignited a fascination with the beauty of simplicity and symmetry that would shape her future and inspire how she still approaches design today.
Designed in London and handcrafted in Italy and Spain by highly skilled artisans and made using the finest Italian leathers from boutique tanneries, each bag is finished with either signature shocking pink or neutral calf suede lining and gold-plated hardware. Every piece is designed to be a life-long treasured companion, to be passed down to future generations – timeless, luxurious, distinctive and beautiful.
