Established in 2018, Erbey Dokuma İplik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., headquartered in Sarıçam, Adana, Turkey, quickly rose as a prominent player in the textile industry. With three modern units and a spindle capacity of 71,328, Erbey İplik has consistently expanded its production capabilities, achieving a total yarn production capacity of 62 tons/day for ring yarn and 28 tons/day for open-end yarn.
Erbey İplik specializes in processing counts ranging from Ne 6 to Ne 36, producing a variety of high-quality yarns, including Cotton Carded, Slub, Core, Dual Core, and Combed Compact Hosiery yarn. While coarse counts cater to inhouse weaving requirements, their combed compact yarn primarily serves the domestic market.

Erbey İplik’s journey began as part of Atlas Denim’s initiative to integrate backward into yarn production. Initially buying yarn from market for its denim fabric operations, the company took a strategic leap to produce its own yarn.
In 2017, Erbey Dokuma Iplik, evaluated various options for setting up the denim manufacturing unit and finalized LMW machinery, based on the deliverables on offer. The first plant was set up in the year 2018 with 20,688 Spindles.
Erbey planned for an expansion project in the year 2020 and based on the successful performance of LMW machines in their Unit 1, Erbey Iplik, Unit 2 project was finalized with 21,456 spindles.
Following the success in both Unit 1 & Unit 2, Erbey planned for a Combed Application Project in the year 2021. The first choice of machinery for the customer was LMW. Having seen the performance in terms of productivity, quality, user friendliness & maintenance friendliness, Erbey Iplik – Unit 3 was established with 29,184 spindles producing 100% combed compact yarn.
Partnering with LMW proved instrumental in Erbey İplik’s success. LMW’s advanced machinery with Automation solutions like Lap Transporation System (LTS), Roving Transportation System (RTS), Spinconnect provided flexibility to handle a wide range of counts and special yarns, ensuring consistent productivity and faster returns on investment.

Vardhman Group Partners with LMW for Technological Enhancements through Smart Card, Breaker Draw Frame, Speed Frame, and Compact Ring Frame Solutions.
In a significant step towards technological enhancement for long term vision, Vardhman Group has partnered with LMW Limited, for a major investment towards 107 units of Card LC361 Series (100 LC 361 S and 7 LC 361), 40 deliveries of Breaker Draw frame LDB 3 (20 nos. Twin Delivery Draw frame), 24 units of Speed frame (LF4280 series) and 70 units of the Smart Compact Ring frame LRJ 9/SX.
Exploring synergies between the Indian and Bangladeshi Textile Industries
LMW had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Shelley Salehin, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh for South India, at LMW Unit 1 on 2nd January 2025. Mr. M. Sankar, Director (Operations), and MuSalebio had a meaningful discussion on the global textile landscape, exploring synergies between the Indian and Bangladeshi textile industries. During his visit, Mr. Salehin toured our state-of-the-art Pilot Plant and witnessed our latest smart machinery from Blowroom to Autowinder. The visit marked a productive exchange, reinforcing LMW’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Bangladesh textile market.

Vinatex Delegation Visits LMW to Explore Autoblend Performance and Manufacturing

On December 9, 2024, representatives from M/s. Vinatex, including Mr. Pham Xuan Trinh (Operation Manager and Head of Vinatex Coats Joint Venture Project), Mr. Nguyen Vu Dung (Expert – Investment and Development), Mr. Pham Van Hien (Technical Manager), Mr. Cao Minh Duc (Technical Manager), and Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Huan (Director – M/s. Cotco), along with Mr. Manjunathan (M/s. Madura Coats), Mr. P. Rajavadivel, and Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh (both from M/s. LMW Global - Vietnam), visited M/s. LMW U2.
The purpose of their visit was to observe the performance of the Autoblend LA10 at M/s. Sri Lakshmi Ganesh Spinning Mills and M/s. Madura Coats, explore LMW’s manufacturing facilities, and discuss the production capacity and features of the Autoblend. Additionally, they reviewed the Ring frame’s compatibility with processing 51mm cut-length fibers.

LMW hosted the team from DNM TEXTILES FOR SPINNING WEAVING & DYEING, one of Egypt’s leading textile manufacturers at LMW, India.
During their visit to LMW, DNM Textiles team participated in an insightful training session and provided us with an invaluable opportunity to showcase our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and our commitment to innovation in the industry.
We showcased our entire range of products in MD, trained the team on process optimization, and facilitated detailed interactions with experts from various product groups.

Strengthening our Cherished Partnership with Erbey Iplik, Adana, Türkiye
We had the pleasure of welcoming our esteemed partners from Türkiye, Mr. Ahmet Cagri DALKIR from Atlas Denim San. Ve Tic. A.S., and Mr. Hakan PALA from Erbey Dokuma Iplik San. Ve Tic. A.S on 27th Oct 2024. Our cherished partnership began in 2018 with the first full project order of 21,000 spindles for the Coarse Count process from Erbey. lelik. the Adana-based spinning division of Atlas Denim Group. This was followed by a second full project of 21,456 spindles in 2020. In 2021, we commissioned a fully
automated project featuring 29,184 spindles equipped with our advanced Smart machinery and complete automation, including LTS, RTS, YBS, RSM, and SPINCONNECT systems. Today, a total of 71,640 spindles across three projects, all powered by LMW machines, are running successfully at Erbey lalik in Adana, Türkiye. We are proud to support and collaborate with such a visionary organization as they continue on their journey of innovation and excellence.

Testament to LMW’s Unwavering Commitment towards the Textile Industry and for introducing the latest spinning technology, LMW’s Chairman and Managing Director, Shri. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, was recognized with ‘Vastra Vibhushan’ Award at TEXPROCIL’s 70th Jubilee Celebration on 28th October 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel JW Marriott in Mumbai. This milestone event commemorated the seven decades of TEXPROCIL’s vital role in the country’s vibrant cotton textiles industry and celebrated the innovation and excellence across the sector.
The awards were presented by the chief guest, H.E. Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, in the
presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Smt. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, Textile Commissioner, who served as the Guest of Honour. The ‘Vastra Vibhushan’ award specifically acknowledged LMW’s groundbreaking advancements in spinning technology, positioning the company as a leader in driving the growth and modernization of India’s textile industry.
