Dear Members,

• Dino Dig Family Night (July 2)
• Star-Spangled Splash (July 4)
• Prime Rib Dinner (July 16)
• Happy Gilmore 2 Adults-Only Watch Party (July 26)
Summer marks the most important grass-growing season of the year and the scheduled course closures for aerification, verticutting, and fertilization are critical for maintaining Lake Nona's superior course conditions. Thank you for your understanding and patience during these course closures, and I encourage you to please reach out to the Professional Shop for assistance in arranging tee times at local, private courses we have partnered with for reciprocal playing privileges.
On May 6, Tavistock and Club leadership team members, along with the architect and construction teams, collaboratively signed a steel beam of the new building to commemorate the progress of the annex expansion. Plans for the Clubhouse, Bath & Racquet and pool renovations are being finalized and indicate a bright future for the Club and the overall Member experience. Lastly, we plan on hosting another Club renovation meeting to share additional information in the months to come (additional details to follow).
Sincerely,
Brian Pizzimenti, CCM General Manager

A warm welcome to the summer season at Lake Nona! We are underway with course projects, maintenance programs, and operation adjustments all designed to continuously enhance our golfing experience. Following our first summer aerification closure, Nick, Taylor and the course maintenance team will focus their efforts on managing and transitioning course conditions including reducing rough heights and actively spraying out the Rye grass. We hope this proves to be a quick transition based on these annual practices. You will also notice the lake bank restorations and cart path projects underway, which will be a much-welcomed enhancement to the course. As construction continues on the new annex building, the outside golf services team has been working tirelessly through the adaptions to operations. They will now greet you as you finish on the 18th hole to help take care of you and your guests in an effort to further elevate your golfing experience.
Our Head of Club Fitting, Taylor Fulbright, has been working with many Members in fitting sessions to determine the best tools to grow your game. His elite custom fitting knowledge is also drawing players from across the country to seek out his expertise, and we are thrilled to have him based here at Lake Nona, and readily available to enhance our Members' golf game. This summer also brings the debut of new equipment from several major brands, so I encourage you to swing by to learn about the new clubs that are launching.
Lastly, there has been some fine play on the touring circuits recently. On the PGA Tour, Ryo Hisatsune tied for sixth at the Charles Schwab, while Lindy Duncan secured back-to-back top 25 finishes on the LPGA Tour. Luke Poulter and his University of Florida team had a strong season, making it to the semi-finals of the NCAA National Golf Championship. Congratulations to Luke, who is also close to Walker Cup selection for team Great Britain & Ireland!

Summer is the busiest and most demanding time of year for the golf course maintenance team. From ongoing projects to battling daily afternoon thunderstorms that can undo hours of work in minutes, our crew remains constantly active and committed to course excellence. This summer, we are also proud to be hosting a U.S. Amateur Qualifier on Monday, July 14. While we did spray out our overseed a week earlier than usual to help accelerate the transition of our Bermuda rough, I am pleased to report that this prestigious event has not significantly altered our summer plans. We're pleased with how the course is progressing, as most areas are transitioning well. As always, a few spots will require sodding, which is a typical part of overseeding recovery. To help the course transition as quickly as possible, please drive carts on the greenest grass when navigating the course and avoid any brown or thin areas that are still filling in. These small steps of extra care are much appreciated and can collectively have a big impact on overall course health.
We are making solid progress on restoring clean, rounded lake banks along holes 12, 13, and 17 with the installation of the erosion control solution DredgeSOX. Completion is expected by mid to late June. Over the next three summers, we will address all in-play lake banks to create a long-term, aesthetically consistent solution.
We have begun repairing damaged sections of the cart path in the high-traffic areas on holes 1, 5, 9, 11, and 15. Additional areas will be addressed in the coming years. Please expect temporary cart traffic rerouting during the repair work.
We are in the final stages of planning and permitting for building a new bridge across the hole 17 pond and rerouting the cart path through the shaded oak tree area right of the green. If all goes smoothly, we expect to begin work during the second aerification closure in July. We’ve heard your questions and concerns:
• The rerouted cart path will cross well short of the approach and will not impact play.
• Strategic mounding will screen it from view from 17 tee.
• The new bridge will sit just above the high-water line and remain lower than the surrounding rough, blending seamlessly into the landscape for both golfers and nearby residents.
During the course closure, the driving range will be closed July 21 - 23 and will reopen July 24 - 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. As summer progresses, aerification becomes slightly less aggressive to account for unpredictable weather conditions.
• Greens will be softer than usual; therefore, please repair ball marks diligently.
• Always rake bunkers after use, leaving them in the condition you'd want to play from.
• Please respect the course, your fellow Members, and the next group coming through.
Thank you for your continued support and efforts towards maintaining Lake Nona's world-class course conditions. We wish you a great summer on and off the course!

Nestled along the 12th fairway of Lake Nona's famed championship golf course, stunning panoramic fairway and water views provide the backdrop for this gorgeous estate. The home was expertly reimagined by designer Ashley Martin Homes and remodeled by DeVoe Custom Homes in 2022. Custom double doors open to the homes welcoming foyer, which upon entry offers the first views of the homes prime golf course location through floor-to-ceiling windows. A formal sitting room greets guests and shares a two-sided fire place with the beautiful, private dining room. Displaying preeminent craftsmanship at every turn, custom archways, European Oak hardwood floors, and beamed ceiling details extend beyond the entry into the heart of the home where an epicurean kitchen boasts two expansive islands, custom cabinetry, a walk-in pantry and state-of-the-art appliances from Wolf, Subzero and Miele. Floor-to-ceiling windows continue into the adjoining family room, which flood the space with natural light while taking full advantage of the serene views. The owners suite is perfectly situated for privacy, at the back of the home on the first floor, and encompasses a morning bar, large custom walk-in closets and a breathtaking bathroom. Custom vanities, a modern soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower are adorned with Brizo Luxe Gold fixtures, Rejuvenation knobs and pulls and handmade Zellige and mosaic tiles, which create a personal sanctuary within the home. The upstairs entertainment loft features a custom wet bar with dual undercounter beverage refrigerators, and offers access to the screen enclosed balcony with elevated, panoramic views. Three en suite bedrooms, including a spacious junior primary suite, complete the second level. The open outdoor living area creates the perfect setting with the covered lanai, summer kitchen and al fresco dining area. Highlights of the new pool include a sun shelf and heated spa.
Inspired by a Tuscan vision, this stunning residence offers the perfect setting for indoor/outdoor living and entertaining. With a backdrop of serene golf and water views, the unique property offers 6,101 square feet of living space and features five bedrooms, six full and one-half baths.
Imported mahogany doors open into a dramatic two-story foyer with an exquisite faux copper tray ceiling and custom chandelier. Continue into a remarkably inviting great room that flows into formal and casual dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen designed for the most discriminating cook and expansive outside living areas that are perfect for hosting intimate gatherings and large parties.
Mediterranean influence is found throughout the first level, with accents such as Italian Renaissance tile; custom-paneled doors; cove lighting; hand-painted and custom-tiled wall treatments; and travertine floors inlaid with wood and imported tile accents.
Ascend the grand curved staircase to the second level, which features an open, railed passage overlooking the foyer and great room below. Completing the upper level are three en suite bedrooms and a beautifully designed home theater with eight leather recliners and Murano glass lighting fixtures.
