• B-52: Men's Fall Member-Guest (October 10 & 11)
• Chris Carpenter Wine Dinner (October 18)
• The Black Pearl Bash (October 25)

In golf news, mark your calendar for an exciting tournament season as Matt Collis and the dedicated golf operations team have orchestrated an impressive lineup of competition and camaraderie, along with several new coaching and player development opportunities. As a reminder, the course will be temporarily closed for overseeding October 20 - 30 and the range will reopen with modified hours beginning October 23. This essential process, taking place over only one weekend, is crucial for ensuring that our greens remain healthy throughout the season. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Should you need assistance in scheduling tee times at local courses we have partnered with for reciprocal playing privileges, please contact the Professional Shop.
CLUB EXPANSION/RENOVATION UPDATE
The advancements underway at the annex expansion have ignited a wave of excitement for progress, as these changes herald a bright and promising future for our Club. Plans for the upcoming renovations to Club facilities are in the final stages and will transform the Club into a state-of-the-art destination for our Members’ continued enjoyment. To keep everyone informed, we are planning another renovation meeting to share more detailed updates about these developments. Additional details will follow in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Brian Pizzimenti, CCM General Manager

MATT COLLIS
matt.collis@lakenona.com
407.209.1241
As we welcome the fall weather, we look forward to a full schedule of golf events ahead. We are pleased to share the following updates and look forward to seeing you around the Club and course.
COURSE AND CONDITION UPDATES
Following the wettest August on record, the course was able to dry out more in September allowing playing conditions to steadily improve. The heavy rain had our golf course maintenance team working tirelessly to identify and repair several drainage issues, which will ultimately result in better playing conditions year round. Speaking of maintaining course conditions, I implore all players to please pick up all of your tees on tee boxes. The litter is becoming a major issue as it is unsightly and damages our maintenance machinery. Your cooperation is much appreciated and helps to keep the course playing and looking its best.
NEW FACES & SIGNATURE EVENTS
• Expanding Workshop Team: We are thrilled to welcome new staff to the Workshop. Cortland Schofield joins us as our Head of Club Fitting, and Matt Palazzolo joins us full time as our Golf Movement Specialist. Matt is available for training sessions and recovery to help you get your body in the best shape to improve your golf and stay active.
• B-52: Men's Fall Member-Guest: In it's third edition, the tournament will again welcome active military pilots at the dinner to share their experiences, the history of the B-52, and its connection to the historical McCoy airfield and the Lake Nona region.
MEMBER SUCCESS ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
• Walker Cup: Congratulations to Luke Poulter for the extraordinary achievement of competing for the GB&I team in one of the biggest amateur competitions in the world. He earned two points from his four matches, including a dramatic Sunday foursomes rally where he came back from four down to win his match!
• Ryder Cup: Congratulations to Tyrrell Hatton and Team Europe who won the 2025 Ryder Cup securing back-to-back victories for Europe. Tyrrell had a remarkable performance, remaining unbeaten in his four matches and securing the crucial half-point to clinch the outright victory!

COURSE NEWS

ndolimpio@lakenona.com
407.209.1281
SUMMER PROJECT RECAP
We are excited to enter the season with many improvements to the golf course from our summer projects. Over the past few months, we have:
• Enhanced Drainage – A significant amount of drainage has been added and repaired.
• Tree Management – We focused on removing drip lines and overhanging canopy to allow more light and air movement to the turf, improving overall health and playability.
• Lake Bank Stabilization – Perhaps our most exciting project, the dredgeSOX installations on holes 12, 13, and 17 have not only stabilized the banks but will look outstanding this fall with overseed established.
OVERSEED COURSE CLOSURE: OCTOBER 20 - 30
The course will be closed during this time, however, the driving range will be open from 8:00 a.m.6:00 p.m. on October 23–26 and again October 28–30. Thank you for your patience during this time, as this is an essential task designed to create Lake Nona’s healthy and pristine course conditions.
CART PATH ONLY REMINDER
Following the wettest August in the past 10 years, we observed a concerning number of carts disregarding cart path only restrictions, which are in place to protect course conditions, especially during wetter months. We kindly ask that all members and guests do their part by following them carefully. Consistent adherence will ensure the course remains in the best possible shape for everyone’s enjoyment. As a reminder:
• Cart path only - all four wheels must remain on the path for the entire hole.
• Driving with two wheels off the path, or pulling into the rough beside the fairway, is not permitted.
• Holes are designated cart path only, after careful review of conditions. When widespread wet areas cannot be managed with ropes, the entire hole is restricted to cart path use.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to make the 2025–2026 season our best yet!

HOW-TO-PLAY: HOLE 15
NARRATED BY GRAEME MCDOWELL
LIV Tour Player, 2010 U.S. Open Champion, 16 Worldwide Professional Victories
A great par 5 along the shores of Buck Lake that plays as a real risk reward hole. Any approach shot moving left of the green will find water, and if the flag is on the top tier, players will have to be deadly accurate to keep it close.
A very strong par 5. WATCH VIDEO >

Nestled along the 12th fairway of Lake Nona Golf & Country Club's famed championship golf course, stunning panoramic fairway and water views provide the backdrop for this gorgeous estate within one of Central Florida's most sought-after private communities. Originally built in a Mediterranean-style, the residence has just undergone a comprehensive renovation by Akers Custom Homes, featuring an expertly reimagined floor plan, a new epicurean kitchen, remodeled bathrooms throughout, the addition of a second-floor laundry suite, and a fifth private ensuite bedroom. The exterior received a new roof, fresh exterior paint, Sierra Pacific windows and doors, and a newly designed saltwater pool and spa. Custom double doors open to the home's welcoming foyer, which introduces the thoughtful floor plan where formal and casual living spaces are enhanced by natural light and golf course views. The elevated interior design strikes the perfect balance of sophistication and warmth with new European white oak hardwood flooring and custom cabinetry throughout, and Lutron lighting integration for intuitive whole-home control. The chef's kitchen showcases an all-new Viking appliance suite, including a 48 in. dual-fuel range with six burners, griddle, and double ovens, a 48 in. built-in refrigerator, professional dishwasher, and matching hood. A center island with a Kohler prep sink, walk-in pantry, and a breakfast nook complete the space. The first-floor owner's suite offers a serene retreat with dual walk-in closets, a reading nook, and direct access to the lanai. The spa-inspired bath highlights a freestanding soaking tub, custom vanities, and an oversized, glass-enclosed shower.
