PARENT PORTAL UPDATES
This summer, we updated our Veracross Parent Portal. After receiving feedback from parents, this portal contains an easier-to-navigate homepage, an improved menu with easy to access links, and enhanced functionality for viewing and working in the portal on a phone or mobile device.
PARENT PORTAL TRAINING
We are pleased to offer Parent Portal Training sessions throughout Orientation on Monday, August 11 These sessions will be held in the Legacy Center and will run every hour from 9am to 2pm and contain about 20 minutes of navigation and training and 40 minutes of time to ask specific questions to our support team. No registration is required.
LUNCH TAB
We will continue to use LunchTab for cafeteria accounts and point of sale for the 2025-2026 school year. We are excited to announce the roll-out of two highly requested updates.
Parents will now be able to save their payment information within LunchTab. Parents now have the option to set up Auto Recharge. This will allow the system to automatically add funds to your lunch account if your account balance falls below a specific threshold.
These options are available by clicking on your Profile name on the top-right of the home screen within LunchTab. In the Account Settings link, navigate to the Payment tab to access this menu.
Additionally, LCS will be instituting a new policy for the 2025-2026 school year that will not allow families to have a negative on their lunch account greater than $250. Students in households with a balance greater than $250 will not be permitted to purchase items in the cafeteria until the outstanding balance is paid. We request that students always have a credit balance on their lunch account if they are purchasing items from the cafeteria.
EMERGENCY CONTACT/AUTHORIZED PICKUP UPDATES
Before the start of school, please review the Emergency Contacts and Authorized Pickups you have listed in your Family Profile (https://portals.veracross.com/lcs/parent/profile). LCS will only permit people with these designations to enter campus for lunch or to pick up a student leaving campus for any reason
