NOUÉ Experience a real Jersey Christmas in St Helier with traditional markets, dazzling parades and many more seasonal delights. Our event-packed mid-winter celebration derives its name from the local Jersey Norman-French language and translates as ‘The Christmas Festival’.

La Fête dé Noué delivers a variety of heartwarming, festive and family celebrations, and this year promises to be the best yet. Events and activities on offer include the Christmas Lights Switch On, the Genuine Jersey Simply Christmas Markets, the Norman-French Market and much more!

A Victorian Christmas

Join us for a magical evening in St Helier, full of festive fun. Come to see Santa’s Parade, accompanied by a brass band, Le Petit Train and festive characters, as they travel from Millennium Town Park at 6pm, through the town centre, switching on the lights as they go. A delightful Christmas spectacle with many floats forming a colourful procession through the streets of St Helier. The floats are festooned in twinkling lights, and include people and children dancing or walking in costume to help specators get into the Christmas spirit. www.battleofflowers.com

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

St Helier’s shopping centre has an excellent mix of well-known high street stores, independent local boutiques and department stores. In the run-up to Christmas a large number of retailers will be open until 9pm on Thursdays and 10am to 5pm on Sundays.

The ‘Sunday Shopping Experience’ is a rare occurrence in Jersey where there is limited trading permitted on a Sunday.

Soup Kitchen

From 10.30am | 3rd December Royal Square £3 Donation The Shelter Trust for the Homeless in Jersey will be holding its annual fund raising Soup Kitchen, with around 40 different soups on offer provided by the Island’s top restaurants, hotels and local chefs.
