The Activate Lafayette mobile phone app allows users to experience Lafayette’s art, history, and outdoor spaces while engaging with interesting and informative content. One of the many interactive tours available through the app is the 2018 Art on the Street Tour which allows users to take an in-depth look at the City’s public art collection, learn about the artists, check in at each site, and share content with friends. In order to “unlock” the full capability of the app, users need to be present at the specific point of interest. Couch surfers don’t have access to all the available information! Other tours available on the Activate Lafayette app are the Waneka Lake Walking Tour, Restaurant Tours, Walk and Wheel Bike Route, Old Town Parking and Bike Rack locator, and the Lafayette Historic Walking Tour.
